Dan Freeland has been active in the commercial real estate industry since 2011 and joined Gershman Commercial Real Estate in 2014. Dan remains highly focused on the St. Louis office market, advising clients on landlord and tenant representation, office sales, and strategic property dispositions. He is known for his in-depth market knowledge, data-driven approach, and ability to structure tailored real estate solutions aligned with each client’s long-term objectives. Dan holds both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations, widely recognized as among the most respected professional credentials in the commercial real estate industry.

During his time at Gershman, Dan has been involved in office transactions totaling more than $450 million in value and over 3 million square feet. He has played an integral role in the leasing strategy and execution of a 650,000-square-foot, nine-building Class A office portfolio in West County, helping increase overall occupancy from approximately from 70% to 95% — significantly outperforming the broader submarket trends.

Prior to joining Gershman, Dan served as a Transaction Manager at Cassidy Turley (now Cushman & Wakefield), where he completed over 150 transactions and advised corporate clients on lease relocations, renewals, restructures, and terminations.

A St. Louis native, Dan lives in Kirkwood, Missouri with his wife and two children and enjoys golf, outdoor activities, and cooking for family and friends.
