Dennis McIver joined Gershman Commercial Real Estate in early September as Vice President of Maintenance & Facilities. In this newly created role, Dennis will provide leadership over the daily operation of the firm’s maintenance division. His responsibilities include supervision of 13 technicians, implementation of a new work order system, personnel training, inventory / fleet management, preventive maintenance programs, project management, and vendor coordination / oversight.
Prior to joining Gershman, Dennis served as Senior Building Engineer for Intelica CRE where he managed a team of 6 technicians responsible for maintaining over 3 million square feet of commercial properties. Prior to Intelica, he spent nearly 20 years with CBRE in a supervisory role, overseeing a large team of technicians and implementing new technologies to increase efficiencies. Dennis’ career began as a boiler technician with the United States Navy where he was responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of mechanical equipment.
